Nottingham Railway Station
Groundwork's
offices are situated approximately 1 and a half miles from the Midland
Railway Station. We would recommend that the easiest way to reach
our offices from the railway station is by tram.

By Bus
Nottingham City Transport services run at frequent intervals along
Alfreton Road and Ilkeston Road. For more information about bus

By Tram
Exit the railway station using the pedestrian footbridge which
is located approximately half way along all platforms at the station.
Follow the directions for the tram or Nottingham Express Transit.
Catch any tram to High School tram stop. Turn right off the tram
and walk to Forest Road/Waverley Street junction. Turn left onto
Forest Road West and walk to the end of the road at the junction
with Alfreton Road. Cross Alfreton Road at this junction and turn
left. Take the next turning on your right into Boden Street. Walk
along Boden Street until you reach its junction with Denman Street
East. The Groundwork offices will be infront of you.

On Foot (20 to 30 minutes)
Exit Nottingham
Railway Station main entrance and turn right onto Carrington Street.
Walk to the bottom of Carrington Street to its junction with Canal
Street. Cross Canal Street and continue straight on. Infront of
you, you will see a subway and to the right of the subway, you will
see the Broadmarsh Bus Station. Walk under the subway, exiting onto
Collin Street once across the road. Turn right out of the subway
exit and walk past the long row of bus stops. Continue onto Maid
Marion Way, under the NCP Car Park after the bus stops. Walk to
the top of Maid Marion Way (about 1/2 mile) to a large roundabout.
There are plenty of crossings on Maid Marion Way, so try and cross
to the other side. Once at the top, you will see the Holiday Inn
Express Hotel on the right. Take the first exit (Derby Road) off
the roundabout up the hill. Continue walking on the left hand side
of the road to the top of the hill and a major road junction. You
will also see a police station on the left. With the police station
on your left you will see Derby Road going down the hill. You will
also see next to Derby Road the start of Ilkeston Road. Walk down
Ilkeston Road and take the third turning on the right into Ronald
Street. Continue along Ronald Street and you will see the Groundwork
offices on your right at the junction with Denman Street East.
By Car from M1 North
Exit the M1 at junction 26, following the signs for the A610 towards
Nottingham. Continue straight on at all the roundabouts and junctions.
This road eventually becomes A610 Nuthall Road. On reaching the
Ring Road, continue straight along the A610 towards Nottingham.
Follow the A610 (Nuthall Road which changes to Alfreton Road) for
another 1-2 miles until you see a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet
on the right hand side with some high rised flats behind. Just after
the Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet, you will come to a set of traffic
lights - this is the Forest Road East junction. Go straight on at
the lights then first right into Boden Street. Continue along Boden
Street to the junction with Denman Street East/Ronald Street where
you will see Groundwork's offices at the T junction. Parking is
accessed from Ronald Street.
By Car from M1 South
Exit the M1 at junction 25 and head along the A52 towards Nottingham.
Follow the A52, straight on passing Nottingham University, crossing
the Ring Road and passing the Queens Medical Centre. Continue straight
at all junctions, passing the Savoy Cinema on the right until you
can't go straight any further. Ensure you are in the left lane.
At this point you will be at a large junction, Canning Circus with
Canning Circus Police Station on your right. Keeping left, taking
the second left A610 Alfreton Road towards M1 North. Continue down
the hill until the left turning approximately 20 metres before the
first main junction which is Boden Street. Turn into Boden Street
continuing along it to the junction with Denman Street East/Ronald
Street where you will see Groundwork's offices at the T junction.
Parking is accessed from Ronald Street.
