Business Programme
Integrating the economy with the environment

Groundwork Greater Nottingham's Business Programme has been developed to reach out to Nottingham's small and medium-sized enterprises. Groundwork is opening up a range of business growth opportunities through a programme of training and consulting. Through Groundwork's experience in quality delivery into the community we have secured European and Regional development funding. This is targeted to make Nottingham a centre of excellence in the smaller business sector. With Groundwork and Nottingham businesses working together, we can achieve everyone's aim to put the East Midlands into the Top 20 Economic Regions in Europe.

If you are an SME based anywhere within Greater Nottingham, we have opportunities for you. These programmes are limited and applications are now being taken for organisations to join. Groundwork will help your organisation realise its potential by delivering:

			On-site environmental reviews covering legislation, environmental policy and the first steps to an environmental management system;
			Workshops and follow-up mentoring in environmental management, including cost savings from waste and energy minimisation;
			Match-funding for investment towards implementing an environmental action plan;
			Funding for specialist consultancy visits to your site, e.g. health and safety, waste minimisation, environmental management.
