The Heritage of Forest Recreation Ground was a project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund involving the young people from The Nottingham Deaf Youth Club.

The young people have been researching the history of Forest Recreation Ground, The Pavilion, The Lodge and The Deaf Society Building (22 Forest Road West).

The main aim of the project was to gain a better understanding of the area where they live and meet.  Group members undertook a number of workshop sessions including photography sessions, games sessions, collage sessions and fun nights using media where possible to collect information that will be used to create a DVD, this booklet and a final piece of art.
