Partnering communities
We consult with local communities to assess what changes they would like to achieve. We help them to raise their aspirations and turn their vision into reality. Local communities are helped to secure resources to deliver activity and we help local groups carry out improvements to their local areas. We seek to provide a positive experience often through volunteering and assist the development of active citizenship.

Partnering agencies
We draw upon our knowledge of the needs of local people to engage effectively in partnerships and to influence future policy. We can draw upon our experience of working with local communities in Greater Nottingham for many years but also the collective knowledge and experience of the other fifty Groundwork Trusts in England and Wales. We are able to provide practical solutions that turn objectives into positive action to the benefit of local people

Funding our activity
We receive limited core-funding so our activity has to be funded by assembling resources from a variety of external funding sources. We have to bid for much of our funding in an increasingly competitive environment. A number of our partners now commission us to undertake work and we seek business sponsorship
