How do we help young people realise their potential?

Watch the Heritage of Forest Recreation Ground video. Click here to vist out multimedia section.

We work with young people to give them opportunities to help shape the development of their local areas. We encourage them to become involved in activities that help their own development particularly their self-esteem as well as improving the local area. We help to reduce anti-social behaviour by involving young people in productive activity. We work with them to improve their appreciation of environmental issues and the heritage and history of their local area. We help them to understand the value of social inclusion and to appreciate the different experiences of other generations and cultures. We help young people to appreciate the negative impacts of anti-social behaviour and the positive benefits of healthy lifestyles, and taking regular physical exercise.
