RELEASE DATE 14 July 2005
TITLE GROUNDWORK OPENS ALLOTMENT ACTIVITY DAYS TO ALL THE FAMILY

Groundwork Greater Nottingham will be running a series of fun activites for children and their families in Netherfield. There will be the chance to visit the Stoke Lane Allotments site that the charity is working on in partnership with Sure Start Gedling, look at our beautiful fruit and vegetables, and find out about all the creepy crawlies who live there too.

We will be running supervised bug hunts, making mosaics with natural materials on the ground, and maybe making something to feed the birds with. All are welcome, and the event is free. We will be waiting at the main gates on Stoke Lane to let people in, this is opposite the sign for the Carlton Football Club.

The dates are:

Tuesday 19th July 10.30 - 12.30 and 1.30 until 3.30
Tuesday 2nd August 10.30 - 12.30 and 1.30 until 3.30
Tuesday 9th August morning only 10.30 until 12.30
Tuesday 16th August 10.30 - 12.30 and 1.30 until 3.30
We will provide all the materials you need, and lots of fun is guaranteed!
